SD31 DFL This Week: No Kings, No Tyrants, No Dictators … SO VOTE SOON!

Maybe we are seeing a turning point! Some historians report that when 2% or more of the people get out in the streets, it changes the course of things. So THANKS to all of you who marched in the NO KINGS event on Oct 18, and please keep marching!

A Shadow Cabinet. What Is It?

SD31 DFL Newsletter on FREE SPEECH, Sept 22, 2025

Greetings, DFL Friends–
As almost everyone knows, free speech is now under direct attack in the US. We are sending around a
couple of comments by right wingers this past week to show that this is not just a concern of “Far Left
Radicals.” Let’s keep sharing those voices on the Right (as well as others!) who see Free Speech and
other rights as American values, not political weapons for a dictator. Maybe Tom Emmer needs to hear
some of what Carlson and Hawley have to say.
Also: Consider stopping subscriptions with media companies that cave to the pressures to end free
speech. We need to show that the First Amendment is at least as important as the Second– and truly
the bedrock of all our other freedoms.
Then below we have links to upcoming events.
